Christ Ahnsahnghong Came in the Order of Melchizedek

About Christ

The Bible is a book of prophecy that testifies about Christ. Among the many prophecies about Christ, let’s recognize the Second Coming Christ through the history of Melchizedek.
Biblicists and theologians consider Melchizedek to be one of the greatest mysteries in the Bible. He appears only twice in the Old Testament and the ministry of Christ is described as the priesthood in the order of Melchizedek. Then, what is the order of Melchizedek? Let us understand the meaning behind Melchizedek and how he teaches us about the Second Coming Christ.

The Origin of Melchizedek

Hebrews 5:11 “We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.”
Why was it difficult for Apostle Paul to explain about Melchizedek, even though he had much to say about him? First of all, let’s study the origin of Melchizedek.
Genesis 14:18-20 “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram…Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.”
Melchizedek, king of Salem, received Abraham and blessed him through bread and wine. Then Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything he owned.
When we study the Bible, we must keep in mind that the Old Testament is a copy and a shadow of the New Testament. Melchizedek, mentioned in the book of Genesis, also served as the shadow of a reality that was to come.

Jesus Came in the Order of Melchizedek

Let’s find out, through the Bible, who is the reality of Melchizedek.
Matthew 26:28 “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’ Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.’”
In the Old Testament, the physical Melchizedek blessed Abraham through bread and wine In the New Testament, Jesus, the spiritual Melchizedek, blessed His people with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine. Therefore, we can understand that Melchizedek represents Jesus.
Hebrews 5:8-10 “Although he was a son, he [Jesus] … was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.”
This verse makes it clear that Jesus is the spiritual Melchizedek.

The Explanations of Melchizedek

Apostle Paul said that it was difficult for him to explain about Melchizedek. Let’s see why:
Hebrews 7:1-3 “This Melchizedek…Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever.”
1) “Without father or mother”
The Bible testifies that only believers in God are considered to have father or mother (Mat 12:50). Thus, the words, “[Melchizedek is] without father or mother,” mean that the spiritual Melchizedek is to be born among unbelievers. Nevertheless, Jesus was born into a believing family: Joseph and Mary.
2) “Without genealogy”
In the Bible, “genealogy” refers to the twelve tribes of Israel. The words, “[Melchizedek is] without genealogy,” mean that the spiritual Melchizedek will be born among Gentiles; Jesus, however, was born from the tribe of Judah (Mat 1:1).
These were the characteristics of Melchizedek that Apostle Paul felt were too hard to explain.

Christ Ahnsahnghong Came in the Order of Melchizedek

In order to fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek, the Bible says Jesus is to come a second time.
Hebrews 9:28 ”…he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”
The Second Coming Jesus will fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek:
1) He will bless us with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine.
2) He will be born among unbelievers (“without father or mother”).
3) He will be born of Gentiles (“without genealogy”).
4) He is God (“without beginning of days or end of life”).
Christ Ahnsahnghong is the One who fulfilled all of these prophecies. How can we not believe in Him when all of the prophecies about the Second Coming Jesus testify that Ahnsahnghong is the Christ? The members of the Church of God believe that Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Christ, our Savior, who came in the order of Melchizedek according to the words of God.
Isaiah 25:6 “On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine the best of meats and the finest of wines …he will swallow up death forever…In that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us.’”
Before the day of judgment comes, please accept Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ, who fulfilled the prophecies of Melchizedek. Christ Ahnsahnghong blessed us with eternal life through the bread and wine of the Passover. Therefore, He is our Savior.
Even if a man performs a great miracle or wonder, if he has not come in the order of Melchizedek, he cannot be the Second Coming Christ.
Please recognize the Second Coming Christ through the words of the Bible so that you may receive salvation. The one who follows in the order of Melchizedek is the true God, our Savior.

Church of God World Mission Society Practices Mother’s Teachings

It is more blessed to give love than to receive love, as God always gives love.
This is a true teaching of God which speaks of the Passover. 2,000 years ago when Jesus Christ came, the Apostle John wrote:
JOHN 13:1 “It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love”
The full extent of God’s love is eternal love (John 6:53) given to us through the Passover of the New Covenant found in Luke 22:13-21.

YELLOW SHIRTS & SMILES: SIGNATURES OF THE CHURCH OF GOD

On November 8th, the World Mission Society Church of God joined hands with the Trenton Half-Marathon and 10k Expo to stir up excitement in anticipation of the run the upcoming Saturday. To encourage the runners and deliver support for the charitable causes at the Expo, the energized volunteers drove through the state starting as far North as Ridgewood in Bergen County. Upon arrival, nearly three dozen Church of God members geared up to cheer on runners and participants for the next seven hours.
Volunteers greeted approximately 2,000 runners and vendors walking through the doors of the Lafayette Yard and Hotel with a cadence of hope and victory before the run. Church photographers took pictures with runners and venders to serve as a memento of the day, they bagged bibs and goods for takeaways, and left everyone with a smile.
This is the second event in the last month at which East Coast branches of the Church of God gathered to assist community organizations in Trenton. Their support and effort did not go unnoticed. Chris Seiler, President of Always Advancing and Boss Events, said about the church: “It would have been impossible for this event to be as successful as it was today. The cheers and spirit you have brought have gotten everyone ready for the run and we are so excited. Thank you so much for coming out here today! You were really needed.”
The Church plans to continue such good deeds and lighting up smiles where ever they go.

CHURCH OF GOD VOLUNTEERS CHEER WALKATHON PARTICIPANTS IN ENGLEWOOD

How do you cheer up more than 1,000 participants walking for the hope of finding a cure to a life-threatening disease?
About 200 volunteers from four branch locations of the World Mission Society Church of God joined the Englewood Medical Center to tackle that great task at the Walk for Awareness: Our Fight Against Breast Cancer. Volunteers came from the branch churches in Ridgewood, Botoga, Edgewater and Central Jersey.
The members’ primary purpose for the day’s event was to display Heavenly Mother’s love by coming together to cheer on and support those who have been deeply affected by breast cancer.
In preparation for the walk, a pink balloon arch waved in the wind as herds of people steadily flowed in. Even Church of God members started to trickle in by the dozens until a sea of yellow spread throughout the vast field of the Hospital’s front yard. A blue Church of God tent was set up to offer information to curious walkers and was used as a signal area where members could gather for the day.
As the morning progressed, volunteers helped set up chairs and tables, organize waters and snacks for walkers and even geared up to clean bathroom facilities throughout the day. Their efforts were noticed even by the President of the hospital who returned and gave glory to God by thanking Church members for their efforts.
Hoping to really inspire neighbors, each of the branch Churches there united to work on the best possible cheer that could bring hope and also send a message of love to energize people toward victory over illness.
Shouts spoken with one voice could be heard from almost half a mile away saying, “H-O-P-E! Hope! H-O-P-E! Hope! Let’s walk together hand-in-hand! H-O-P-E! Hope! Against breast cancer take a stand! H-O-P-E! Hope! We fight! We hope for a new life too! Hope!” These words rang throughout the 5K look that went around the city of Englewood and spurred thanksgiving from the walkers who had never experienced this kind of support.
Motivated by the love of Heavenly Mother, volunteers said they were running an errand for God to bring happiness to the world and share peace throughout their communities. In doing so, the members wanted to plant seeds of consideration and love for others that will blossom into continued volunteerism everywhere in New Jersey and throughout the New York Metropolitan Area.
One of the Church of God volunteers commented, “Today people are very alienated from one another and may not realize what others feel or are most affected by. We hope that by sharing in the sufferings of others, we can work together to unite as a community and love and understand one another more.”
Moira Sullivan Renke, Manager of Special Events at the Englewood Hospital, mentioned about the Church, “Your group made everyone feel blessed and loved today! You brought our event to a whole new level, augmenting it in ways we cannot thank you enough for.”

AVON WALK FOR BREAST CANCER

20 Oct 2013, Smile Campaign

cancerWalk
Love is patient, love is kind, let’s keep on walking to the finish line,” was heard around New York City as the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer continued to march forward on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
Rising early, nearly 150 volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God shone the love of Heavenly Mother and cheered on the brave participants in the two-day, 39-mile walk throughout Manhattan, with a final celebration ensuing at Pier 84.
The preparation for the walk began the night before as the volunteers diligently created posters, assembled hand-made pom-poms and gathered breast cancer awareness accessories to add pep to their cheers.
Taking a stand in their well-known bright yellow shirts, the volunteers, who came from Church of God branches in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Long Island, set up at five locations along the route equipped with posters, noisemakers, whistles and mighty shouts hoping to boost the walkers’ energy toward the end of their journey.
At Columbus Circle, volunteers positioned themselves in two rows, creating an aisle, so the walkers could feed off the walls of cheers as they passed by. Creating anticipation, volunteers would bend down and rise up in a wave as walkers approached. Walkers responded by even dancing, running and giving everyone high-fives as they made their way down the aisle surprised by the enthusiasm. Volunteers even paused to pose with various walkers shocked by the display.
At the walk finale at the Pier, Carol Kurzig, President of the Avon Foundation for Women, who hosts the walk, commended the volunteers for their cheers, saying, “You guys were great!”
The walk raised $6.7 million which will help find a cure for breast cancer and provide counseling and care for newly diagnosed patients. The World Mission Society Church of God displayed the glory of God relentlessly cheering during the walk for the second year in a row. Volunteers even stayed behind to help clean up after the final celebration at the Pier.

Why more than 1.86 million Christians around the world believe in God the Mother

Kim Joo-cheol, the General Pastor of the Church of God, gives a keynote speech under the subject, “God the Mother Testified in the Bible” at the International Bible Seminar 2013 on Nov. 3.
World Mission Society Church of GodKim Joo-cheol, the General Pastor of the Church of God, gives a keynote speech under the subject, “God the Mother Testified in the Bible” at the International Bible Seminar 2013 on Nov. 3.
Why are human beings male and female?
While people might think that this question is one for biologists, it was actually the focus of an international Bible seminar that I attended in South Korea last week.
I was one of more than 100 members of the World Mission Society Church of God from 25 countries — including Canada, the U.S., Australia, Singapore, Peru, Finland and England — who attended the event at the Go & Come Institute in Okcheon, Chungbook, along with about 700 locals.
Biblical evidence that supports the existence of a female Christian God was presented from the point of view of an aerospace engineer, an expert in international political relations and a professor with a phD in neuroscience.
Let us make man in our image, in our likeness
Most Christian churches believe in one God, commonly described in male terms as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, but the Church of God believes the Bible testifies that two Gods exist: God the Father and God the Mother.
In his keynote speech, General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol addressed one of the “enduring questions of the scripture” published by Reader’s Digest in the Mysteries of the Bible: Why does God say “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness,” during the creation in Genesis, instead of saying, “Let me?”
The church teaches that since the Bible testifies that men and women were both created in God’s own image, God actually has two images: the male spirit and the female spirit. In other words, there are two Gods – Heavenly Parents – who together created human beings in Their likeness.
Fotolia
FotoliaThe Church of God believes that everything on Earth was created according to God's will. Through the existence of an earthly family system that consists of a father, mother and children, we can understand that in Heaven there is God the Father, God the Mother and Their children, the church says.
The fact that there is no biological necessity for physical life to be given by mothers caused Deacon August Kruesi to wonder: what was God’s will in creating the human life system in this way?
In his presentation, the technical principal for aerospace at Aerojet Rocketdyne, a U.S. company that “provides propulsion and energetics technologies,” said that scientists have so far failed to discover the origin of life on Earth, or in space, while the Bible offers a clear answer.
While many people place their trust solely in science when they want to know where life came from, Mr. Kruesi pointed out that key steps in the “primordial soup” theory remain unexplained and impossible to recreate, and scientists have yet to find any signs of life beyond our planet.
Mr. Kruesi argued that God’s divine nature and the existence of God the Mother, the source of eternal life, is clearly shown through all creatures on Earth that require both male and female to reproduce. He believes that God created the world this way to testify to the existence of both a female Creator, and a male Creator.

Scientists have discovered that mitochondria — known as the energy factories of cells — are only passed down through the maternal line. God made it so that the “power source” for reproduction comes from mothers in order to further testify to the existence of a life-giving spiritual mother, Destinee L. Chambers said.

And God uses the hormones oxytocin and dopamine to deeply embed an intense maternal love in the psychological makeup of women from the moment of conception in order to teach human beings about the undying love God the Mother has for mankind, the professor of psychology at America International College said.
And because the Heavenly Mother is the embodiment of love and peace, She is the key to solving all of the world’s problems, Deacon Paul Richard Wilcox said.
As the Republic of Korea & Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Country Manager for United States Pacific Command based in Hawaii, Mr. Wilcox strives to find ways to promote peace and stability in the world. But the former fighter pilot, who spent 30 years serving as an active duty military officer, said he only started to develop patience, understanding and humility after he found out about God the Mother.
“Knowing the love of God the Mother brings the balance we seek,” he said.
Above all, the church members aspire to practice the love of God the Mother who teaches the importance of serving others with a humble mind, just as Christ did 2,000 years ago.
As a result, the church has been recognized for carrying out volunteer activities around the world with the devotional love of Mother. The church hosts blood drives, environmental cleanup campaigns and helps with relief efforts for victims of natural disasters.
When High River, Alta. was flooded last July, members from the Edmonton branch church drove down to help with the cleanup, and they gained a reputation for being able to clear a basement in “record time,” the CBC reported.
The Church of God has received about 1,000 awards for its volunteer efforts in nations around the world and even received the prestigious President’s Call to Service Award from the U.S. in 2011.
World Mission Society Church of God
World Mission Society Church of GodDeacon Paul Richard Wilcox, Republic of Korea & Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Country Manager for the U.S. Pacific Command Northeast Asia Policy Division, explains how “the love of Mother brings balance.”
The members are motivated to change their personalities and serve their communities because of their belief in God the Mother, who guides the church, and has come as a human being to set an example for mankind — just like Jesus Christ did 2,000 years ago — Mr. Wilcox said.

Mother's Teachings

It is more blessed to give love than to receive, as God always gives love.
When we give glory to God, the glory returns to us.
A beautiful mind has no hate, and brings forth a perfect love.
As Abraham was blessed with the better when he gave in for his nephew Lot, so we are blessed more greatly when we give in for our brothers and sisters.
Being arrogant means wanting to be served.
Though others do not work, we should not complain but do our work faithfully. Having the mind of a master makes us work with pleasure and ease.
Arrogance comes from a mind full of complaint. When we serve God always with gratitude in our hearts, complaint and arrogance recede from us, and humility dwells in our hearts.
When we praise brothers and sisters, the praise returns to us.
As the sea receives all the dirt and purifies it, we should have a broad and beautiful mind enough to cover up even the faults of our brothers and sisters.
Whoever wants to be led by the Lamb should become a lamb smaller than the Lamb.
Sacrifice is needed to become a greater vessel.
We should endure present sufferings, for the kingdom of heaven is waiting for us.
Even God didn’t come to be served but to serve. When we serve one another without wanting to be served, God will be pleased.
The Church of God was established in 1964 in South Korea by Ahnsahnghong, who members believe fulfilled the prophecies about second coming Christwho comes again as a man. The church started in a small house in South Korea, but since the world evangelism began in 1997, 2,200 churches have been established in 150 countries around the world, and more than 1.86 million members believe Ahnsahnghong is the second coming Christ who restored the Biblical new covenant that Jesus preached and practiced, but was changed after the Apostolic Age.
“Jesus was a Jew, and then we make this big leap to Catholic. What happened in the middle?” Jeffrey Jacques had wondered during his college years. Without a satisfactory answer to that question, he stopped attending regular worship services for about 15 years. He was “on the way to not believing in God,” when the electrical engineer started studying the Bible at the Church of God in Washington, D.C., and found the answers to his questions.
The Church of God emphasizes the importance of worshiping God according to the example that Jesus set 2,000 years ago, that is recorded in the Bible, rather than following traditions that were adopted by churches after 100 AD.
Mr. Jacques said he was grateful to find a church that is based “purely on the word of God,” and that keeps the same seven feasts of the new covenant that Jesus kept according to the Bible, instead of celebrations that are commonly known to have pagan origins, such as Christmas.
And decades after he asked his father why they go to church on Sunday, even though the Bible says that Jesus read the scriptures on the Sabbath day, Mr. Jacques said he was amazed that even the Catholic church had acknowledged that the church’s doctrines contradict Biblical teachings.
“You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify,” James Gibbons, archbishop of Baltimore, wrote in The Faith of Our Fathers in 1876.
World Mission Society Church of God
World Mission Society Church of GodChurch of God members from 25 countries including the U.S., England, Australia, Peru, Mexico, and Malaysia visited Korea and participated in the Bible seminar in order to learn more about God the Mother.
While most Christians hold worship services on Sundays, the Church of God keeps the Christian Sabbath as well as the new covenant Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month of the sacred calendar, just like the Bible testifies Jesus did.
Deacon John Dyck remembers asking his Christian pastor why his church celebrated eucharist when Jesus said to keep the Passover as a “lasting ordinance.” But the then-10-year-old boy was told not to worry about it.
He stopped attending regular services during college and for 25 years visited a church only a handful of times. But about eight years ago, he was amazed to hear about the church that actually celebrates the Passover and the other feasts of God that were restored by Ahnsahnghong.
“I get to follow the perfect truth,” he said.
