Jesus,King David and Christ Ahnsahnghong

Jesus, King David and Christ Ahnsahnghong

Seek King David in the Last Days

Every word in the Bible contains the precious will of God, which He wants us to know. Today, the Bible has been translated into more than two thousand languages, and it is one of the best-selling and most widely distributed books in the world. However, even though many people read the Bible, they do not realize the hidden meaning of each of its prophecies. Among many words in the Bible, let’s find out the implied meaning of the words, “Seek David in the last days.”

Prophecies about King David

Hosea 3:4-5 For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or idol. Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king. They will come trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.
The Prophet Hosea testifies that God’s people must seek King David in the last days because there is something very important that cannot be solved without seeking him. Through the prophets of the Old Testament, God repeatedly testifies about David who will appear in the last days.
Ezekiel 34:11-24 “For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so I will look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness… As for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will judge between one sheep and another. I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd. I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.
The book of Ezekiel was written about 450 years after King David’s death. In other words, the prophecy, “I [God] will become a Shepherd and search for my lamb,” and the prophecy, “I will place over them one Shepherd, my servant David,” are about the spiritual David, not the physical David. These prophecies imply that God will come to fulfil the prophecy of David in the last days. Prophet Ezekiel repeatedly prophesied about David.
Ezekiel 37:24-27 “My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever, and David my servant will be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant… I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
God said that His people would keep His laws and decrees in the reign of David. Every prophecy of God is to be fulfilled without fail. As we are the ones who look for the way to receive eternal life, we should find the spiritual David and understand why he comes and what it is that he must bring. We need to receive him as the Bible says that he will be our shepherd.

Who is the Spiritual David?

Revelation 5:1-5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

The Bible testifies that no one can reveal the secrets of God to us except the Root of David – Christ – who comes in the name of David. If the secrets remain sealed forever, how can we know the way to eternal life and the Kingdom of Heaven? According to the Bible, it is only the Root of David who is able to reveal to us the secrets of the Bible. That is why the Bible testifies that whoever longs for eternal life must seek David in the last days. Then, who is the prophetical David? How do we meet him?
Isaiah 9:6-7 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.
The above prophecy about Christ was written by the prophet Isaiah 700 years before Jesus was born on this earth. As Isaiah prophesied, “He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, with justice and righteousness,” Jesus came as David.
Luke 1:30-33 “You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus… The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”

King David and Jesus’ Second Coming

Since it is written that God will give Jesus the throne of His father David, we need to carefully study the relationship between David and Jesus. If the prophecy about David was completely fulfilled by Jesus two thousand years ago, we would not have to study about this prophecy today. However, according to the prophecy of Ezekiel, David is to appear as a Shepherd on a day of clouds and darkness in the last days to lead His people, who are represented as the sheep. It is certain that there is a prophetical relationship between David and Jesus; through the work of David, we can easily understand that of Jesus. First, let’s find out the prophetical relationship between the period of King David’s reign and the period of Jesus’ ministry on earth.
2 Samuel 5:3-4 …they anointed David king over Israel. David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years.
David was anointed King when he was thirty years old and he reigned forty years. Then, what about Jesus Christ?
Luke 3:21-23 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying…a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well please.” Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry…
As David was anointed at the age of thirty and began to reign, so Jesus was spiritually anointed through baptism at the age of thirty and began to preach. Here, we need focus on the fact that Jesus did His public ministry for only three years, while David reigned for forty years. Then, should Jesus come a second time to complete the forty year reign of King David?
Hebrews 9:27-28 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Jesus should come to this earth a second time and be baptized at the age of thirty, and preach the gospel for the remaining 37 years in order to fulfill the prophecy of King David. Then, what is the sign of the Second Coming Christ? How can we recognize Him when He comes a second time as the spiritual King David?
Isaiah 55:1-5 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost… Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander of the peoples…”
Hebrews 13:20-21 May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our LORD Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good…

God said that an everlasting covenant was promised to David who would lead us to the Kingdom of Heaven as our leader and commander. The writer of the book of Hebrews testified of “the blood of the eternal covenant,” which is the blood of the new covenant – the Passover. In other words, the everlasting covenant, God’s faithful love promised to David, means the new covenant. So, Christ is to bring the new covenant when He comes in the name of David in the last days.

Christ Ahnsahnghong Who Brought the Eternal Covenant

Today, there are many people who claim, “I am David prophesied in the Bible.” Among them, is there anyone who has led us to eternal life through the new covenant; revealed the hidden secrets of the Bible; taught us the reality of God Elohim and the existence of God the Mother; and restored the seven feasts in three times so that we can observe all the laws and decrees of God? Who, then, did so? It is Christ Ahnsahnghong who has led us to the way of eternal life through the eternal covenant. He is David who has appeared in the last days according to the prophecies of the Bible. He is the Second Coming Jesus.

Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled the prophecies of the throne of David: He was baptized in 1948 when he was 30 years old; preached the gospel for 37 years; and, ascended to Heaven in 1985 after completing His ministry.
